Home Sick :(

My View Today

I have been trying to deny that I am getting sick for the past several days...but there is no denying it.  I kept telling myself that if I just got a little more sleep, I would feel much better...and my extra sleep on the weekend helped...for a day...but with the restless nights that one experiences at nine months pregnant, sleep is lost on a nightly basis.  I finally gave in today and stayed home from school this morning to try to get caught up, thinking that by noon I would be bright and perky again!  (Hahaha!) Instead, I woke up feeling even worse, and ended up calling my doctor, who prescribed an Rx for me, which my lovely Caleb went to pick up.  So, I finally decided to call in to school and say that this girl was not fit for teaching, and crawled back into bed.  

Caleb told me that he was shocked that I had actually stayed home.  I think I have reached a point where I know I have to take care of myself for Thumper's sake.  So, I am praying that the lots of extra sleep today as well as the Rx will get me back on my feet again tomorrow!  Praying for perseverance these last days...and hoping I will be able to breathe through my nose again by the time it is time to get Thumper here!  :)
